The 8th World Construction Symposium

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Due to events and circumstances beyond the organisers’ control, the 8th World Construction Symposium (WCS 2019) originally scheduled for 12 -14 July 2019, has been rescheduled for 8-10 November 2019.

Towards a Smart, Sustainable and Resilient Built Environment

The Ceylon Institute of Builders (CIOB) and Building Economics and Management Research Unit (BEMRU), Department of Building Economics, University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka are jointly organizing the 8th World Construction Symposium from 8 – 10 November 2019. The Symposium will provide a special forum for researchers and practitioners in the area of sustainable construction worldwide to share their knowledge, experience and research findings.

Ceylon Institute of Builders (CIOB) and Built Environment Project and Asset Management (BEPAM), a journal published by Emerald Group Publishing, have arranged several awards for the author(s) of outstanding papers and the best presenter(s) of the symposium (further details available here.)
